What was your favourite moment of Project Runway Australia? -When I successfully introduced the Lui Hon aesthetic to Chantelle Raleigh in the Brownlow Medal episode.
And what was your least favourite moment? -When I had to re-design the Kelly Rowland dress.
Who were you closest to on the show? -Brent.
What was Kristy Hinze like? -Strong in her looks and sweet in her heart.
What would you have done differently on the show? -Nothing.
How nerve-wracking was the show? -I can almost hear my pulse in every task.
What's the typical day in the life of Lui? -A non-stop balance work and studio.
Do you work to music - and if so what? -Indeed, at the moment I’m quite fond of Portishead, Fleet Foxes and radio station RRR 102.7.
What did you do after Project Runway Australia? -Promoting my AW 09 collection.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years' time? -Running between Australia and overseas.
1)Yes, I regrated not to put the first outfit on that task. The stress level was so intense and I tried my very best to give a better outcome. But it did not turn out what I wanted. My initiate idea was to create a black on black fringe jump-suit. The fringes were so little left when I got to the fabric place.
2)Unfortunately, the contract has been signed and the decoy collection for PR can not be revealed.
BUT, I have presented this collection again (with few pieces less) during the L’Oreal Melbourne Fashion Festival this year and here are the links.
